Dentistry For Every Village Foundation, Inc., recently opened their second charity dental clinic. The facility is located in the campus of the Rogationist College and Seminary in Merville Park, Parañaque, Philippines. The religious congregation that owns the campus will be managing the clinic to further improve their charitable health care ministry for the multitude of indigent residents living in their area of responsibility.
The project dubbed as the San Antonio de Padua Charity Dental Clinic was built through many grants and donations solicited by the Foundation mainly from the friends of the Congregation, lead by Mrs. Silver Salazar of Parañaque City.
Leading the list of large US-based donors are the Academy of Dentistry International Foundation, Marifi Pipkin, DMD of Apple Valley, CA., Matthew Okui, DDS of Encino, CA., Russell Rayman, MD of Arlington VA., and the DLV Family Trust.
The dental chair complete with an operating light and a cuspidor was donated by a couple of successful Filipino dentists, Dr. Guy Lapid and his wife Dr. Carina Lapid of Antipolo City. It was enhanced with E-Generator Handpieces and a blood pressure machine.
