Today, in response to the Foundation’s request for donation for their charitable projects in the Philippines, SunStar Americas, Inc., the makers of GUM® toothbrushes and toothpastes and many other products associated with oral health care, sent boxes of their products for the dental mission slated on April 28-29, 2016 in Northern Samar.
Sunstar Americas, Inc. is a company that proactively reaches out to communities around the world, promoting a variety of oral health programs and activities. They provide toothbrushes and other dental products to oral health programs in numerous locations including the Americas, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Since 1977, the Sunstar Foundation for Oral Health Promotion has provided dental treatment and problem prevention programs worldwide. In addition, they work with the World Health Organization in formulating more effective oral health policies in a wide range of countries.

The Dentistry for Every Village Foundation, Inc., raises funds by seeking grants and donations to build dental clinics. These clinics are donated to health care institutions that have the resources to house the facility, experiences and expertise to run them efficiently, and whose management is supportive of the cause.
